A 1967 Barracuda that was being built by a body shop for a customer who decided not to pay.
The 1967 barracuda was the first year to have its own design. Prior to this the barracuda was an option for the Valiant car model.
This particular Barracuda came from the factory with the 273 V-8 engine boasting a 0-60 MPH time of 9.2 secs and a quarter mile time of 16.9 Secs. Only 27,963 of these were made in 1967 with the 2BBL and an "LA" block
The previous owner had the intention to make it into a drag car, but only got as far as adding a few bars for a rollcage. The body shop completed most of the work to the car, however there are two spots that need attention, around the rear window where the gasket and trim sat and under the drivers quarter window there is some pitting. The doors open and close with ease. The trunk looks solid from the interior perspective. There is some of the original carpet covering the trunk area.
There is no interior to the car. I never got it and the body shop did not have it; the previous owner sold it.
It is sitting on jeep wheels and tires.
There will be some work to complete this car. It is still in pieces, most of the chrome is still with the car as well as the windows and hood. See the pictures. The floorpans are in excellent condition but it does look like the trunk pan was patched at one point. There are no keys. We push it around with ease when moving it around our lot.
This car does not have a title and will be sold with a bill of sale from the state of Missouri.
